KINDERGARTEN

CONCEPT

This project deals with the reconstruction of an abandoned industrial building, in order to transform it into a kindergarten with warm and friendly environment for the children. It is situated in Volos, a Greek town located centrally in Greece. The additions that were made took part in such a way that the architecture style of the existing building should not be altered, but to come in full harmony with the new construction. So, some particular characteristics of the old construction were maintained, while new spaces and functions were added.
