Bicycle Parking

CONCEPT

This project aims to design parking positions for the bicycles of the students of Faculty of Engineering, University of Thessaly. The particular geometry of the project derived from the free space that it offers (about 25% relative to the horizontal positioning of the bicycle) while offering night illumination in the surroundings of the school. The student is asked to stabilize the front wheel of the bicycle into the slot, and then lock the frame and the wheel of the bicycle in the circular disk on the base.
