CONCEPT
The concept of this proposal for the creation of a museum for the exploitation of Argo, attempts to combine in a single construction figment the physical entity of a container (building-laboratory) with a metaphorical entity of a ship’s bow. The new museum may be addressed unswervingly to the world of seamanship. Sometimes the triangular abstract form on the face of the museum – as bow of a ship takes us associatively in different ports of the world and sometimes as a latini (triangular sail) takes us in different winds in open seas. Or again reproaching the idea of the wedge as a tool that can work as a Force Multiplier or even as a primary cutter.
